"Keep trusting. God is in control… and He has a plan."
Living in Peace
Do your best and then live in peace. God is there!
We were never made to do life as maintenance; we were created, designed to be fully alive.
To know that nothing happens in God’s world apart from God’s will may frighten the godless, but it stabilizes the ones who believe in Him. To them who believe in Him (Jesus), He has given them the power/right to become the children of God. When you are a child of God, rest. God is awake. He loves you.
John 1:12: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Our Father, Not a Manager
By the very fact that we address Him as our Father, we have lost the right to be or behave as an orphan. God is not a manager of an orphanage. He is a True Father. What we get from Him is our inheritance.
Giving God the First and Last Word
Someone said, ‘We are silent at the beginning of the day because God should have the first word, and we are silent before going to sleep because the last word also belongs to Him.’
Someone also said, ‘Thank you, Lord, because my last night’s sleep was not my last.’
A Prayer for Trust
Dear God, help me to remember today that nothing is going to happen to me that you cannot handle. In Jesus’ name, I pray! Amen.
Psalm 121: I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
A Call to Gratitude
Think… and thank God!
